Alexis and Austin’s Silver Beach engagement session in St. Joseph Michigan was an absolute blast! All day long the weather called for clouds and rain at the time of our session, but we went for it anyway. Even when I got to the beach my weather app said that it was cloudy with a 50% chance of rain, but all I saw around me was clear blue skies. It. Was. Beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better day, especially in March! I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for this spring weather!

 

The beach is a special place for Alexis and Austin’s love story. Silver Beach is where Austin first asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. Later, on another beach, Austin asked Alexis to be his bride. And thank goodness she said yes because these two are perfect together! They still spend their summers on the beach as much as they can.

 

One of the first things Alexis told me was how uncomfortable they both are in front of the camera. She said they don’t have many pictures together for that reason. But by the end of their Silver Beach engagement session, they were both raving about how easy and fun it was to have their photos taken and that they felt so natural!
