Julia and Jonnathan’s Norton Shores wedding was about as cute as June weddings come here in Michigan. They were married on a sunny Sunday afternoon at the Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference in Norton Shores, Michigan. If you’re looking for a Michigan wedding venue that has it all then look no further. Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference is the perfect place to tie the knot! The reception hall windows let in soft, natural light. Lake Michigan’s beach and boardwalk are just a short golf cart ride away. The details at Julia and Jonnathan’s wedding were to die for. Everything was so well thought out. The decor perfectly placed. Their colors were sage green and light blush orange, with little pops of navy. I especially loved seeing their engagement photos up on the mantle! At their engagement session, they mentioned that they might have a donut bar at their wedding. Oh my gosh! It was the coolest donut bar I’ve seen yet! And Jonnathan designed the whole thing! There were mountains of donuts in every flavor you could imagine. Even some I wouldn’t have thought of!

What was really special to me was how God-centered the entire day was. One of the reasons Julia chose me as her wedding photographer was due to our shared faith. When we customized their timeline we blocked out an entire hour for the bridal party to pray together. There was a truly beautiful moment during the ceremony I’ll never forget. After lighting the unity candle, Julia and Jonnathan’s parents surrounded them. Each taking a turn to pray over the couple. It was a powerful moment, and the photos are some of my favorites from the day.
