Leah and Trevor’s Everlastings In The Wildwood wedding was one of my favorite weddings this year. It’s been a year full of beautiful weddings, but this wedding, in particular, was so special for me. I’ve known Trevor since he and my husband were roommates in college. We bonded over our mutual love of Chipotle and The Office. He may be more on the quiet side, but Trevor could tell you anything you need to know when it comes to music. When he asked me to be his wedding photographer it’s needless to say that I was over the moon! His email came in and I stopped dead in my tracks. I had to tell my husband immediately. I was so honored to capture his and Leah’s special day. I’m so excited to share their wedding on the blog today.
Guys, I cry at almost every wedding I photograph. At Trevor and Leah’s wedding, I don’t think I stopped! The moment I won’t forget though was their first look. Trevor’s lip quivered as I prepped him to see Leah, and she was eager to finally see him. She called out his name. He turned and saw his bride for the first time. There wasn’t a dry eye around.
Leah and Trevor could not have chosen a more beautiful venue for their Michigan wedding. Everywhere you looked there were flowers in bloom. The entire venue smelled heavenly. I’ve heard that rain on your wedding day is good luck. Leah and Trevor are going to have a long, happy marriage then because there was rain all morning. Just before the ceremony though, the sky cleared and the sun popped out. The afternoon was perfect for pictures. I’m so glad we were able to do their portraits in the beautiful gardens!
Leah and Trevor, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day! May your love for each other grow with every passing year. Rain or shine.
